Odd quality glass is first quality glass that is out of round, thinner/thicker than normal, has a taper, varies in diameter, and/or not full length.

Oregon Gray fills a void in the borosilicate palette. It is an atmospherically stable opal. Work slowly in a soft, unfocused flame to prevent surface scarring. Once melted in smooth, heat can be soaked in more rapidly.
